Colonialism as a Programme of Government
Were you outraged at the concessions, indeed the capitulations, made by the PSD government before our allies and strategic partners, to the detriment of the legitimate interests of the Romanian people? Wait until you see what the coming Government of the NeoLiberal Party — PNL (“National” it has long ceased to be) — is preparing for us! For if in the former government of the “red plague” there were countless axe-handles of our colonists (I shall mention here only Ana Birchall, though by omitting them I might do many others an injustice), the coming government will be peopled not by “axe-handles” but eminently and solely by veritable “axe-blades” of our betters in the European or American metropoles…
I shall discuss here briefly only 2 of the points in the programme of government of the coming Klaus Werner Iohannis government — for surely we shall not believe that Sică Mandolină or “whatever” will really lead the coming Government! Namely, the obsession developed by the former opposition with the Section for the Investigation of Offences in the Judiciary — that is, the announced abolition of the SIIJ — and the “Repeal of the provisions of Emergency Ordinance 114 concerning the field of gas, electricity, taxation in communications and the setting up of the Investment Fund”. And also the hobby-horse of “public investment”.
“The abolition of the Section for the Investigation of Offences in the Judiciary” — as a programme of government — shows how much trouble, indeed how much panic, this lawfully constituted Prosecutor’s Office, made up of magistrate-prosecutors, has caused the colonists and their bailiffs. Why should that be? Because in the case of this Section the prosecutors are under the command of an independent Section Chief designated directly by the Superior Council of Magistracy — the supreme forum of Romania’s magistrates, the institution charged with guaranteeing the independence of justice, which proposes to the President of Romania the appointment of judges and prosecutors and which watches over the proper conduct of their professional activity. Why does the SIIJ trouble them to such a degree? Precisely because this Section is removed from political control — control exercised in the case of the other Prosecutor’s Offices (PICCJ, DNA and DIICOT) through the designation by the Minister of Justice (at present Ana Birchall, in the near future a minister proposed by the PNL), confirmed by the President (by Klaus himself!), of the Prosecutor General and of the Chief Prosecutors of the specialised Directorates, namely the DNA and DIICOT.
Many are the reasons why the abolition of the #SIIJ has become an obligatory point and a *sine qua non* condition in the political programme of the colonialist systemists of Iohannis’s NeoLiberal Party: the investigation of the abuses committed by the prosecutors of the Ruleoflaw and by the judges on the “corridors” of the system, or the files in which Kövesi and other magistrates and prosecutors (including members of the Superior Council!) friendly to the Ruleoflaw (also known as the “Parallel State”) are under investigation — these are only the tip of the iceberg. For it is not only these files, now under examination at the Section, that cause insomnia: there is also the Microsoft File (the “real” one), resulting from the denunciation made by minister Gabriel Sandu, in which the Microsoft corporation is under investigation together with former ambassadors of the USA and of Austria and with key prosecutors from the DNA. Or the “Realitatea TV” file — the System’s supreme weapon of propaganda — a file likewise now at the SIIJ, in which the theft of the media trust by SRI SRL (SC Strategies-Research-Investments SRL), together with Schwartzenberg Emilian, Liviu Luca, Păcuraru Maricel and others, is under investigation. But perhaps the most painful criminal file for Iohannis (for the PORN President, or the President of 6 houses, has more than his own houses — no fewer than 27!), now under examination at the SIIJ, is the one investigating the manner in which the Democratic Forum of Germans (whose president was the PNL presidential candidate Iohannis himself) obtained the restitution of certain buildings, the FDG claiming to be the lawful successor of the German Ethnic Group — a Nazi entity created on Hitler’s orders in order to support Nazi activities in Romania, and dissolved in 1944 by King Michael.
With all that, the chief reason why the abolition of the SIIJ is so ardently desired is the wish of our great allies and strategic partners to remain at the controls of Romanian justice, the principal means of control over Romanian society and its politicians. The model was patented and long tested in South America. And it works perfectly in Romania as well! Or at least it worked without fail until the setting up of the SIIJ, an institution that endangers the very effectiveness of the yoke of “justice” administered in colonial style.
For without the SIIJ… televised handcuffs will at once come back into fashion!
The second major point is the “repeal of the provisions of Emergency Ordinance 114 concerning the field of gas, electricity, taxation in communications and the setting up of the Investment Fund”, a project which, together with the already-made Dăncilă amendments to the “Offshore Act”, makes Romania an eminently exporting country of natural resources for the benefit and in the interest of others! For the #resources which God so generously gave us will bring no benefit to Romania or to its citizens, but exclusively to the exploiting corporations! You know it already. We have spoken at length on this subject. And if you do not know it, either you do not care, or you are content that our gas should profit the corporations and our Hungarian and Austrian neighbours and partners. In any case, we shall unfortunately have occasion to speak again on the subject of #resources when our new rulers offer them with criminal generosity to partner and friendly companies and nations. For one thing is certain — it is written in the curricula vitæ of our politicians, of “the right” as of “the left”, and in the to-do lists they receive in the capitals of our suzerains, that we shall yield our resources to the last drop! Exactly as all rulers in the colonies do, bailiffs appointed by the metropoles over peoples glad to receive glass beads… or wretched jobs in corporations, or humiliating exiles!
And one more thing is certain: in our days “Everything for the country”, the creed of Romania’s first king, Carol I, has become an outdated and backward concept, the country and the national interest being subversive notions of the new world order. Today, the politically correct thing to say is “Everything for the corporation, Everything for the Union, Everything for the Alliance!”. And the NeoLiberal Party will not only say it with ardour… it will also put it into practice!
The last subject I shall mention now is a hobby-horse so worn by politicians of “the right” that it did not even need to be mentioned in the list of the 10 priorities: “public investment” and “the reduction of internal consumption — ‘provoker of trade balance deficits’”… Why is this point so important to our suzerains? Simple! Because the financial resources of Romanian citizens must not be “consumed” by them! God forbid! It upsets the trade balance, the deficit grows… rather as it happens with the Americans, the Italians, the French or “whatever”, for instance. No! Public money and private money — if possible — must go to public investment… carried out by the State, but with foreign contractors, great corporations flying the flags of our colonists and suzerains, though they have their headquarters on islands and in tax havens. On the Bechtel model, if that rings a bell…
Then will come the Crisis! The announced and long-prepared Crisis… after which the poor will be far poorer, and the rich… unimaginably rich. No, that is not written in the NeoLiberal Party’s programme of government. But the Crisis is there! It is subtly suggested, understood… The reason: “the heavy legacy” and the imminent global crisis, preached by analysts and grounded in laboratories with long experience in the field.
All this will oblige us to observe, resigned, that the cowardices and servilities of the PSD government were veritable acts of bravery if we compare them with the programme of government of “my” transitional government. The 150,000 to 500,000 public employees who are to be dismissed will confirm what I say soon — too soon.
The PSD men, the “red plague”, will also learn and repeat this lesson for many years. And perhaps they will understand that hesitation, cowardice and compromise with the system are dearly paid for. Dragnea understood it too late. And he is paying now… heaped up and pressed down.
It is possible that I am mistaken, however. But most probably the near future will confirm what I say, though I do not wish it!
Probably we too — as individuals, and we too as a nation — shall have to understand and learn this painful lesson in torment. Probably we must touch the bottom of the abyss towards which the new Marxist-neoliberal government will soon push us, must undergo an abyssal katabasis, in order to wake!
Then, perhaps, reality will force us to accept in the near future that a broad national movement is needed, one that states plainly in its programme the necessity of liberation from the yoke of contemporary neocolonialism — as the sole solution of national salvation!
Or “at least” of personal salvation.
