A Suspicious Unanimity on Bill 31
Taking note of the PNL-USR-PLUS-UDMR-PSD-AUR unanimity set off in Parliament by PLX 31/2021 — namely the Law approving Emergency Ordinance 192/2020 for the amendment and supplementing of Law 55/2020 on certain measures for the prevention and combating of the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic —
I believe that the introduction into the Sovereignty Law of a 21st article is called for:
“Law 55/2020 on certain measures for the prevention and combating of the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic is hereby repealed.”
Law 55/2020, by which the “State of alert” was regulated, is a law which, taken as a whole, is unconstitutional — for reasons long debated in the spring of 2020, since it instituted measures restricting the fundamental rights of the Romanian citizen, which is why
LAW 55/2020 MUST BE REPEALED IN ITS ENTIRETY!
THE REPEAL OF LAW 55/2020 IS THE ONLY LAWFUL WAY OF RECOVERING NORMALITY!
Postscript: I recall that article 1 of Emergency Ordinance 192/2020 for the amendment and supplementing of “Law no. 55/2020 on certain measures for the prevention and combating of the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 396 of 15 May 2020, as subsequently amended and supplemented,
is amended and supplemented as follows:
1. In article 13, letter a) is amended and shall have the following content:
a) the obligation to wear the protective mask in public spaces, commercial spaces, means of public transport and at the workplace;”
Any vote given to PLX 31/2021 is a veritable act of treason!
