For George: a Citizens’ Initiative
Following the appalling tragedy through which my friend George is passing, in a last effort of civic involvement I began to write a law for the protection of the victims of medical malpractice and of the victims of medical treatments (including vaccination), a law I would have named the “GEORGE” LAW — #TheGeorgeLaw.
I wrote what I wrote and came to the moment when someone had to be designated to identify and acknowledge the existence of malpractice.
Who is to do it, I wonder?
Why, THE DOCTORS, of course! Other doctors, colleagues of those who committed the malpractice, evidently! That is, those doctors who are now organising themselves and taking the part of the monsters of the intensive care unit at St Pantelimon.
And then I realised that it is CASE CLOSED! I gave up wasting my time, all the more so as I know well that I have no one with whom to try to change anything and, far more gravely, I no longer believe I have anyone for whom to change anything!
The State, the System is perfectly functional at defending its own dysfunction and villainy!
I TRULY HAVE NO HOPE LEFT!
As I have said before, MY ONLY HOPE IS STILL IN GOD!
A God who works, however, through Men!
Men who, like Gods, leap up when you ask them for help! As they did at my last appeal — people from every social station and, above all, some Doctors!
To them I give my thanks now!
And perhaps our masterly Romanian politicians will take up the idea of copying some laws that already exist in the west. Or even of writing a law for the protection of the victims of medical malpractice.
If they have no time, or cannot, or do not know how, I shall write it for them. Free of charge!
Postscript: following this post I was contacted by my friend Antonio Andrusceac, who told me he will promote a debate on such a law and will support it in the plenary session of Parliament.
Perhaps this last attempt is worth carrying through after all…
