“God Is Not Mocked”

“…God is not mocked. Brethren, be not deceived: God is not mocked, and His justice shows itself when He desires the amendment of men.”

The Church is waking up. Late…

Let us hope not too late.

“In the autumn of 1989, on the feast of Saint Dimitrios the New, the communist authorities forbade the veneration of the holy relics. Patriarch Teoctist, of worthy memory, was compelled to move the reliquary from the Metropolitan Hill, from the Cathedral, into the building next door, which housed the seat of the Grand National Assembly. But he did not take it far. This humiliation of Saint Dimitrios the New was requited in this sense: that a few months later the communist regime fell, and in that same building next door, in the Patriarchal Palace, was established the Patriarchate’s radio centre, which broadcasts the services to the joy of people at home and in the diaspora.
